Amanda Power is a four year veteran, 2016 Grey Cup Champion and previously served as the Community Events Coordinator for the Ottawa REDBLACKS Cheerleading and Dance Team. During her time as an athlete, Amanda contributed to approximately 75 events totalling over 200 hours of community service to the Ottawa and Gatineau communities.
Amanda graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communications, and currently works for the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces as Executive Assistant to the Assistant Deputy Minister of Civilian Human Resources. She is certified as a Respect in Sport leader with Cheer Canada and is trained in Harassment & Violence Prevention. Amanda is a firm supporter of facilitating environments for the empowerment of young women.
Currently Amanda resides in Petawawa, Ontario with her husband who is a serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
