Melody was a cheerleader for the Montreal Alouettes from 1979 until 1983. She also took part in both of the Alumni Reunions in 2008 and 2010.
During this time she acquired a creative arts degree from Vanier College and later an honours degree in psychology from Concordia University.
She has worked at Saint Mary's hospital as a mental care coach, helping patients deal with chronic illness. I have been a creative advertisement designer for Bell Canada and have worked as a flight attendant for over 11 years.
