Tammy has over 30 years of marketing, public speaking, singing & performance experience. She lived in Los Angeles for 10 years where she dove into the world of acting, live performances with dance groups & worked for a top investment firm in Pasadena in client service and marketing which provided a solid foundation and a natural transition to the real estate world. Back in her native Ottawa since 2009, where she was born and raised, Tammy dove right into the world of real estate upon her return and has built a successful career doing what she loves with Canada’s #1 real estate company Royal Lepage. The recipient of Presidents Gold & Master Sales Achievement awards consecutively for the past 9 years is a reflection of her dedication, work ethic and commitment to her clients. Tammy was a former Miss Ottawa Rough Rider and former CFL Cheerleader for 7 years under the direction of Ann Holtz. Many years that shaped her life personally and professionally with dance training, public functions and established lifelong friendships Tammy is the proud daughter of Ed Laverty, an Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame Inductee who was the driving force behind the Ottawa Nepean Touch Football League. She witnessed his hard work & leadership pioneer the league to its 50th year of operation under his direction. Her father’s mentorship and example as an athlete, community builder and business leader left an indelible impression on her and she strives to emulate the same inspiration and drive in everything she does. Tammy has been playing touch football since the age of 13 in both women’s and coed division and has coached NCAFA girls in touch football alongside her husband and football coach Sean Hall. She is a natural born athlete and stays heavily involved in sports and staying active. In 2018 Tammy founded the Ed Laverty Legacy Sports Fund in her father’s memory; a not for profit that raises funds for “Youth in Sport”.⠀She is affectionately known as “Tammy Toes” a warmhearted nickname dubbed by her dad. A few of you may know that Tammy has some strong vocal pipes! She has performed our National Anthem all across North America for sports teams including: Los Angeles Dodgers, Toronto Blue Jays, Ottawa Senators and Ottawa Redblacks to name a few. When not out showing houses, in her spare time Tammy enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, mom, brother and in-laws. She enjoys singing, staying active in dance, sports and coaching. She is also involved in the Ottawa community supporting many local charities and events like the Ed Laverty Skills Event, Ringside For Youth & Bruyere Care to name a few.
